Macromedia Flash MX requires CarbonLib 1.5 or later to run on Mac® OS 9.x (the CarbonLib functionality is built into Mac® OS X, so nothing additional is required for that operating system). For more information on CarbonLib or to download a copy, refer to www.apple.com/support/. Because CarbonLib is a Mac® Extension it requires the system to be restarted before it can be used.CarbonLib can also be upgraded with Apple's Software Update service. With Mac® OS X, use System Preferences > System > Software Update; and for Mac® OS 9.x, use the Control Panel > Software Update.b.
